Hi All and thanks to the all who have made DSL such a delightful distro. I'm somewhat new to Linux, but not network administration. I read Walter Kruse's review http://www.osnews.com/story.php?news_id=5597 and I agree with everything written there. My old Pentium 100 with 40megs of ram is purring right along. The HD install went flawlessly.

I do have one problem, I can't find Ted-GTK word processor? Was it left off the latest ISO or am I not looking in the correct place? Is TED-gtk the same as FLWriter?

Hi,

1 . Right klik mouse , Enhanche - Icons Than you see the TED icon on you're screen

2 . /usr/bin the filename = Ted-gtk

One of the way to learn a OS is to search solutions for other persons there problems

TED was no where to be found. On Enhance about 10 Icons appeared, but nothing for TED. Also, I searched the drive for the executable, nothing there either. I guess I will need to download the source.

Adams. Something must be farked up with your version. Ted is right there on the enhanced desktop for all the distros I have downloaded (including 5.2).

Did you check your download with the md5 ?
