^rough translation of above^
Thanks, I want to download wine but I have a slow 56K connection on my DSL computer. Can I download -???- or wine for debian and install it on DSL?
Obviously I downloaded wine for debian somewhere else and want to transfer it to my DSL pc via CD. ----------------------------------------------
^My Response^
Is your file wine.deb or another name (.tar.gz, .rpm, etc.)?
It is much easier to use Synaptic. 1. Apps --> Tools -->Synaptic (This installs Synaptic) 2. Abre Synaptic --> Wine (right) --> Install (left) --> Proceed!
Synaptic is slow with 56k, but it is much easier. If you don't want to use synaptic, I need to know the extension of the file.
-------------- Good Luck
