Hello everyone! I have DSL up and running on an HP Omnibook 5500CT (p120/32Mb RAM/1.3 GB HDD).
It is running great, with my daughter now happily surfing on it while I type on my regular system.
My question is this: what steps can I use to ensure that any clutter stays cleaned out of the hard drive? I am delighted to only be using 16% of the hard disk and want to keep that percentage as low as possible.
I saw in /usr/bin a script called cleanmyDSL.sh. I am nowhere near a Linux expert, though I have been using the OS heavily since 2000, and would like to know if this is a maintenance script, and if so how to use it to maintain my system.
I want to thank everyone involved with this project as this OS has brought new life to my pet laptop, and will be going into my children's computers just as soon as I better master it myself.
Sincerely, Lynda
