First of all I am sorry for using such a long username, but I forgot my former password, and my former mail address as well, for my username 'Teobromina', so I decided to use another one which is representative of my project related to DSL.
DSL is great for old computers and for educational purposes. This is already clear for all of us. For me is much more. Its size of 50 Mb, makes possible to put more soft in a small 210 Mbmini-CDRom.
I started using DSL as 'desktop Linux' more than one year ago for an old pentium 166 MHz-64 MbRam. Since DSL offers a booting image I started using this booting image and the folders of DSL ('boot'+'Knoppix') to add some stuff for Windows to the distro in the same disk, to use it when I am in a Windows computer. The idea was to use programmes able to run from the CDRom without install (standalone). When DSL developed the MyDSL extensions I was very happy since I extended the extra stuff with some valuable programmes to run from Linux.
DSL Linux is very good to enjoy it 'as it is', but also to recover data from a computer with troubles. But there are many apllications that aim to recovery based on DOS.
It was very difficult to me to include a multiboot device to take profit to boot both in Linux or in DOS from the same CDRom, but after several trials, I choosed the 'Barts Way' for it.
I added some other booting images (as RIP=Recovery Is Possible, small Linux devoted to recovery from a dissaster) to the multiboot device.
At the end of the day I have build a Tool (Which name is 'Teobromina Tool Kit' or 'TTK') containing all of the described software.
I think it can be useful, for someone wanting to do some similar, to visit a very simple web I have prepared with information on how is possible to build such a tool in which DSL plays a priviledged rol.

Presently the web is written in Spanish. If there is interesting for someone I can prepare parallel pages in english.
May be soon I could have a place to facilitate the download of TTK, for testing and comments.
I encourage anybody to do something like this. Please do not think that my job is related to software, because I am a simple DSL and freeware user.
Regards.
