You can download the mydsl extensions from the repository. http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/damnsmall/mydsl/
After downloading open up emelfm, navigate to the file you downloaded, click it and than click on the 'mydsl' button in the middle section of emelfm towards the top. It should now be added to the menu when you right click on the desktop under 'mydsl'. (If you are using a .uci extension, you can repeat this process to unmount.)
That being said, if you have a normal hd installation it is recommended that you use apt-get instead of the extensions. The extensions are meant to be used with a frugal install, live cd, etc. Check the wiki for more information on apt-get. http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php/Enabling_Apt
