Before I used DSL, I was actually quite skeptical of how well it would extend - but, as it turns out, it not only converts to Debian or Ubuntu when installed to HD, it actually upgraded seamlessly from kdrive to x.org, handled gcc, several games and development applications, and has all the apps I needed to merge several Debian packages in, while fixing dependancies on the fly... I'm actually surprised that my eTower 566 runs as quickly as my main workstation machine.
Congratulations and thanks.
-------------- System: eTower 566.12, 32MB RAM, 7GB HD, 200MB swap, 1x USB v.1, Intel 810GFX, Intel 810 Audio. Recompiled so far: Pretty much everything. I think I'll have to do a remaster to cut the growing bloat off my system.
