So I got DSL installed off my USB pendrive last night.  Booted and ran it...everything was great.  Got up today and ran it again.  Left it alone cause I'm at work and am sporatically messing around with it.  I had to shut it down due to low power and when I started it back up with my power source and booted to grub to dsl when I normally do dsl fb800x600. I got some errors so I restarted thinking my laptop couldn't do that boot.  Then I selected fb800x600 and now I get a ton of errors.

------------------------------
xauth:  error in locking authority file /home/dsl/.Xauthority
xauth:  error in locking authority file /home/dsl/.Xauthority
xauth:  error in locking authority file /home/dsl/.Xauthority
xauth:  error in locking authority file /home/dsl/.Xauthority

modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module binfmt-001a
modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module binfmt-001a
/home/dsl/.xserverrc:/home/dsl/.serverrc: cannot execute binary file
giving up.
xinit: connection refused (errno 111): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.
xauth: error in locking authority file /home/dsl/.Xauthority
dsl@console[dsl]$

I guess I could reinstall but I figured its better to learn what is going on than to just redo everything. The reason I'm using DSL at all is to learn some more Linux.  Any suggestions on what I should do?  Or is it only a reinstall issue since the binary cannot execute?  Thanks.

I can re-run xsetup.sh but what command do I use at the bash prompt to run xstart?

That seems to have fixed the problem.  Thanks.  Time to play around some more...we'll see if I break it again soon!
