Ok so I want to run the latest DSL on my old laptop but ,and this is purely aesthetic, I want to run older fluxbox themes and dock app I dont like the new version I have an old version installed but the netcard etc dont work as they do on the new version. I would be happy to install the newest to the hard drive and then just copy the old fluxbox stuff from an old version so hered the rub how do I do that where do I put stuff and so on. Anyone feeling especially helpfull????

Style files go in .fluxbox/styles and backgrounds in .fluxbox/backgrounds.  They shoould be added to your menu and the wallpaper app automatically.

Dockapps are often found in /usr/X11R6/bin, but i couldn't say for sure without booting up an old CD.  If it's an application that runs from just a single file, you can probably put it anywhere you like.  Then add a command in .xinitrc to start it.
