I am a linux newbie, trying to get a lillisoft 8" touchscreen working with dsl. I tried doing what a few people had said, which is unplugging the mouse and seeing if dsl recognized it, but it didn't. i have tons of drivers that came with the screen, but they are only for suse, mandrake, redhat, and fedora. i tried rpm-ing them, but to no avail. i have read a few posts saying that i might need the xfree86 package, but i can't even find out how to install that. any help?
