when booting DSL from harddrive, I get an error message:
warning: you passed an undefined mode number.
Press <RETURN> for mode options, <SPACE> to continue or wait 30 seconds.

manually entering the mode number from the options works fine, but in what file do I specify the mode number so that it's accepted at boottime?  thanks!

nevermind...changed vga=788 in my grub boot line to vga=normal and problem went away...
