i've got a HD install of DSL, and i put a pic up as a background on the desktop using the method in the howto that comes up when DSL starts. however, when i restart my comp or turn it off and turn it all again, the background image returns to the image of the theme. is there a way to keep the background image i want to just stay up?

add/change a line in the style file or ~/.fluxbox/init:
rootCommand:  <command> <filename>

If it's in init, the image will be used always, regardless of the style you choose.
