Everything I read about styles and fluxbox indicates that there is a "Classic" layout which looks something like:
Code Sample

/home/dsl/.fluxbox/style/name_of_the_style/
       |
       |.....theme.cfg
       |
       |
       |..... pixmaps/
               |
               |..... * (all image files)

But this doesn't appear to work with DSL 3.1 and Fluxbox 0.9.14  The only way I could be my new style to display was to put it in
/home/dls/.fluxbox/styles/MyNewStyle and not in a sub-directory MyNewStyle/theme.cfg

Sub-directories didn't work.  Can anyone give me a hint as to where pixmaps need to be located so they can be referenced by my new style?

Many thanks to sven.michel@gmail.com for his help and patiences with a n00b to DSL and Fluxbox.

To answer my own question, check where [styledir] points to in Fluxbox menu file and put MyNewStyle in a sub-directory of [styledir]  Just like it says on the box!
