Hi all i already posted a similar question BUT i posted it in completely wrong section >_<
i'm using a dsl with some tweaking added to make a kiosk system, and i need to run a gtk(2? not a big expert) app a mate did
now, i need monospaced fonts for this app; dsl come with just few fonts, and only one monospaced (named "monospace" afaik ) and i need to install other fonts
i downloaded and installed some font package i found on mydsl repositories, but gtk app just does'nt use it (abiword neither so i suppose they are not correctly installed?) i tried to follow this link http://damnsmalllinux.org/f/topic-3-26-18569-0.html and install ttf BUT does'nt work (xsftt does'nt install for some strange reason i really don't know... a dpkg recurring problem)
so, there is another way to install fonts? i don't need complex or difficult-to-install font; i saw "monospace" font on Fedora and it's cool enough (while monospace in dsl is pretty ugly... second only to courier >_> ). There is a way to "export" monospace font from FC and "import" on dsl?
ty for helping
