Looks like it just won't work on your comp, sorry.
Wbar is the lightest OSX dock I've seen so far, but I guess it does need an i686 to run. The next lightest would be Engage standalone (of Enlightenment 17).
Compiling with -march=pentium2 would create a program that only runs on pentium2 or better, that's why I asked..
