Under setting -> control panel -> perifuals -> mouse, I have 'right hand', 'left hand'.
I am using a debian spinoff (linspire), but yours should be simular.

thank you, by the way i found another way to do it execute in bash xmodmap -e 'pointer = 3 2 1 5 4' and for automate i add the same line in .xinitrc
