Quote | is it worth having some transparency and rounded corners for the default style so it shows the updated fluxbox at its best (as it were) |
I chose not to use transparency in the default config for the benefit of users who don't have the power to waste on it....it's a simple thing to change through the menu for those who want it. I'm not sure how much difference the rounded corners make, if any....i'm also wondering if it's worth having as default.
You may not think there's much difference between flux-dev and flux-stable, but personally I think flux-stable is closer to Blackbox than it is to flux-dev, and I use many of the new features daily -- things like the apps file, command dialog, and iconbar are invaluable improvements.
0.9.12 has support for jpg/png images using imlib2 (compile option, disabled by default). If this feature were included it would mean a slightly(?) larger package and maybe require a shell wrapper. Any thoughts on this?
