Hi. I have a hd install of dsl. I deleted desktop icons from the .xdesktop folder in /home/dsl/. But now there are big gaps between icons. How do I move the icons around, so that they stay there after x restart or reboot? I tried manually dragging them, but they wont remember their positions. I tried editing the x and y values of the icon in the .lnk files. Thanks in advance.

Nevermind, I have to exit x then type startx to apply the changes to the .lnk files. I only tried restarting it.
