i tried superuser and chmod but it didn't change anything.

what now ?!?

copy it to your home dir, edit the copy

change .xinitrc or whatever the file is that runs enhance, to run the edited enhance instead

i just wanted to remove fluxter :D but know i just put '&killall fluxter' after 'bsetbg ...' in my fluxbox stylefile. not really elegant, but it works!
