I Installed the WM Ice full from my dsl reposotory and now My dextop Icons dont show up now matter what I do.

All help would be great.

To fix your problem, I would first right click on the desktop and go to --> desktop--> Fully enhaced desktop. If that doesn't work check the /home/dsl/.xtdesktop files and make sure that all of them have their associated icons. Those are the two most common problems when missing icons. This isn't an ICE issue since ICE doesn't actually handle icons; but, I have had a lot of problems with ICEWM from the DSL repository. If you have a standard hard drive install I would recommend downloading ICEWM via apt-get.

I believe if there is a syntax error in any one of the .lnk files inside /home/dsl/.xtdesktop/ the icons won't show. The original files are stored inside /etc/skel/.xtdesktop so you could try replacing everything in /home/dsl/.xtdesktop with these.
