I've just started trying DSL 1.5, but I've used Linux before.  I have an EPIA miniITX with Windows 98SE running.  I followed the instructions for using LOADLN to load DSL.  The isolinux directory is on hda0 and the DSL Knoppix directory is on hda1 (both CF cards).  The kernal boots fine and things run through "autoconfig devices" with one modprobe failure for "block-major-2".  I'm asked about a USB mouse and whether to use xvesa or a frame buffer driver.  I specify the default (or xvesa with other resolutions) and the screen goes blank and doesn't change (for at least several minutes).  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Well, xvesa doesn't work (hangs), but, when I specified vga=xxx with various display resolution codes as a boot parameter, the framebuffer driver worked.
