hi folks,

this is a post from a linux-newbie. DSL is frugal installed, today I tried to run my i.net-connection with sudo pppoeconf. What comes out is: User is not allowed to run sudo in a box.

Hints and tips are warmly welcome!

More info, please.
Is that the exact message?
Are you logged in as a user other than 'dsl'?
Have you tried the net config tools available from the menu?

Yep! it's the exact message. I've added a new user. Had a look in the sudoers, that's okay.  Pppoeconf works either, I tried it before as root.

Kind of confused, maybe I've done something wrong during the install, but that's improbable. A new install?
