Hi to all ,
I am trying to use dsl as a host OS to connect to a MS terminal server with Resktop using an old PC. Basically a network station .
I have done a HD install and everything works fine. Now though I need to make a few changes as I need to setup 5 of these PCs in my network. The changes I need to make are the following.
1. Host name .
2. International settings. I managed to setup the keyboard but  everything else such as Country ,language etc...are not setup correctly .
3. I have removed all the icons from the desktop and left just the rdesktop shotcut. Now I would like to leave only the shutdown/reboot option on the startup menu so that users could not play around with these options but I cannot find where this can be done .

Thank you in advance for any help you may give me .

1.  If you are using a frugual install use the boot command host=HOSTNAME (where HOSTNAME is the name of the machine).  If you are using a hard drive install, try adding hostname HOSTNAME to the end of /opt/bootlocal.sh, change "box" to HOSTNAME in /etc/hostname, and change "box" to HOSTNAME on the first line of /etc/hosts.

2.  No idea.

3.  ~/.fluxbox/menu is the file that contains the commands to draw the menu.  Change that file so it only contains the entry for RDesktop.  Although if someone really wanted to, removing the icons and menu entries won't stop them from using the computer to do something else.
