I want to know if you guys have any benchmark with DSL vs Other full Linux distro.

I setup 2 servers with same decent hardware configuration. 1st with DSL with samba server. 2nd Linux Server with samba server. As for file serving performance, are there any difference between them? Will the the Full Linux samba server faster serving files vs DSL?

I want to know if the Full Linux distro may have performance enhancing extras that DSL may omit for size reasons. Please comment. Thanks.

Most likely the "Full Linux" server will outperforum DSL unless you enable DMA for your hard drives.

You can either do this by booting with:

dsl dma

or by typing:

sudo su
hdparm -d 1 /dev/hda               (or other hard drive devicename)

in a terminal window.

DSL has less RAM and CPU clutter than most other (desktop oriented) distros, so it should be possible to match or beat the performance by using DSL.  Especially on older computers with limited RAM or CPU.
