Is this still the kernel config for the current release?

I've built some modules using sources prepared with this config - these appear to work, but if the kernel config is different to the above in any way they may well turn out to be borked.

Thought I'd ask before posting the extensions. Thanks chaps :)

That is for the now unsupported kernel 2.4.31 DSL v2.0 through v2.1. All other versions of DSL use the corresponing standard Knoppix kernel. And therefore one has easy access to many prebuilt and tested modules not only from Knoppix but also from the Knoppix community.

Sadly no prebuilt modules around for what I'm building (loop-aes v2.x+) - it must be built against the configured sources for the exact kernel it will be loaded into (ie knoppix 2.4.26).

Kernel .config for working knoppix 2.4.26 kernel doesn't seem to be easy to find but I suppose it must be on the net somewhere.  Anyone have one?

The Knoppix .config file is in the /usr/src directory of the full Knoppix_V3.4-2004-05-17 release cd. We all kept that CD didn't we?  If you need it I can email it to you or if there is enough interest I can post it on ibiblio.

Of course!  ... what a d**k I am :)

I just booted knoppix3.7, must have been while you were posting, and saw it has .config in /boot.

I think I threw knoppix3.4 in the garbage the other day at work.

If you could email me the .config that would save me a 600+MB download, thanks Robert.
