When the disk boots and I press enter. A penguin apears in the top-left corner with what looks like a code or something. But everything stops working including the keyboard. What do I do? :(

EDIT: My system specs are:
CPU: Intel Celeron® CPU 2.80GHz
RAM: 512mb
GFX: NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8x
Motherboard: I think it's an ASUS X Series Socket 478

At boot prompt type   dsl xsetup  then choose   xfbdev  option and continue to set up mouse and keyboard. DSL has some trouble with nvidia cards.
