This is a frugal install on a 2 GB drive. I have two partitions, each is 1 GB. hda1 is where the KNOPPIX, boot, and lost+found live. hda1 is also where I manually put the downloaded extensions so they will automatically reload when I boot. This part seems to work fine so far.
There is nothing in hda2.
I haven't done anything to GRUB. I don't even know how to adjust GRUB.
What I would like to do is configure my system so that my home directory is actually backed up when I shutdown/reboot so I don't have to reset my X configuration, firefox settings, etc every single time.
