click on the DILLO icon. By default its set as the dillo home page

Let me rephrase the question. The Dillo home page comes up on boot every time. I have seen and read the document.

I would like to save it to a file that I can find on the desktop, attach it to an email to send to another computer to print because the DSL computer cannot be connected to a printer.

Thanks,

D.

you may try going to the menu and choose system/control panel then click the help button. This will open the getting started page

useing the left mouse button to drag over the text of the getting started page , starting at the bottom...
you may want to use the up arow while holding the drag to get to the top of the page

then click both mouse buttons to paste it where you like. ie an email
or paste it to beaver and drop to the tray

Roberts answered this question at the beginning of the thread, and you answered it yourself in your initial question.  The location of the file is /usr/share/doc/dsl/getting_started.html.  It's a local file.
Are we all missing something here?  Do you understand the unix directory structure?

There is no desktop in Fluxbox, or in jwm....at least not one that can store files like in kde, or windows or mac.

Well, actually I am unfamiliar with directories other than Windows. I wouldn't know how to get to the file to attach it to an email. If there is a link to how to do it rather than having someone take valuable time to spell it out for me, I would be more than happy to settle for that.

[Edit] I see the previous post gave me an option. I will try that. Thank you everyone.

Coming from the Winblows world, if it's not on the desktop, it does not exist..

The medium is the message, whatever that means!
