Yeah, that annoyed me too. It's because of old apps. Basicaly, what i do is update from sarge and it pulls the dependency. Here's the steps->
#1. enable apt #2. go to /etc/apt/sources.list as root(aka:super user) and change it to-> deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ sarge main non-free contrib #deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ oldstable main non-free contrib
#3. run > apt-get update < in root terminal #4. now run > apt-get install fluxbox (why fluxbox, cause i never have a problem with it and if you try and apt-get somthing else it will pull it as a dependency anyway, but a updated fluxbox with transparency capabities ain't to bad.)make sure you answer yes or y to everything. #5. run > apt-get clean <(no need to waste space) #6. just switch to jwm and back again
If all went well you will have a updated fluxbox and all your windows will work now.
