Hello,
Windows xp will no longer boot for me, and I need to get work documents off of the computer for my dad.  I have DSL up and running on the computer and everything is functioning.  However, I cannot figure out for the life of me how to access the harddrive.  Also, I have an idea of what might have caused the problem.  Is there any way to get to an add/remove programs type thing in DSL?
Thanks for your help!

Mount it in the mount box, browse to it in EmelFM.

Possibly your C drive will be the first partition.

See the mount tool at the right bottom in DSL where fd0,cdrom,hda1,hda5,etc will be present (each entry occurs if you click on the tab, initially it will be fd0 i suppose if u have floppy drive).

Your C drive will be hda1 i suppose and D drive will be hda5.

Mount it by clicking on the bottom icon with caption Mounted/Unmounted and

The mount points for these partitions(hda1,hda5,,etc) will be /mnt/hda1,/mnt/hda5, etc.

if u have another hard disk you can copy the data else burn into cdrom using cdrecord command.

Open emelfm and copy the data from these paths to another device.

Note: You need to mount that device also and check its mount point and copy there.

I dont know much about burning CDs with cdrecord.
