my dsl-3.0.1 iso image passes md5 check so its good, I burned as an image to a business card cd....
Im running an AMD fx55 on an A8n-sli mobo with 1 gig of RAM,
trying to boot DSL from a USB dvd/cdrom (plextor)
I get this:
"... checking for myDSL apps... NTFS:Partition cluster size is not supported yet (it is > max kernel blocksize). Done. INIT: Entering runlevel 5: NTFS:Partition cluster size is not supported yet (it is > max kernel blocksize). su (pam_unix) [782]: session opened for user dsl by (UID=0) using Xvesa default 1024x768x32 -mouse "/dev/input/mice" "/dev/input/mice", 5 mouse x auth: creating new authority file /home/dsl/.Xauthority /home/dsl/.Xauthority giving up. Xinit: no such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to X server Xinit: no such process (errno 3): server error dsl@tty1[dsl]$ " then nothing.
I'd appreciate any hints that might point me in the right direction... never used linux of any flavor before.
Thanks
