Wasn't sure where to post this, but I'll re-post elsewhere if needed:
A few weeks ago I found I couldn't view items on this board from my work computer going through my employer's network. When I try to view the board, I get:
"Ikonboard Message
Sorry, you are not permitted to use this board
You are NOT logged in"
...and if I try to log in I'm returned to the same screen. If I disconnect from my work network and connect via a local free wireless access point, I can view the board and log in fine (that's what I'm doing now).
My employer restricts some types of downloads and restricts Internet use after a certain volume of content is viewed each day, but I'm not familiar with anything they're doing that would allow me to reach the DSL board but not view topics or log in. I've replied to a very few board posts using this system, but I'm not aware of posting anything inappropriate. Any ideas what I might have done to result in being restricted from using the board (based on, I'm assuming, my IP address, not my login)? (This is using a Dell notebook with XP Pro and trying FireFox 1.5, 2.0 and IE.)
Thanks,
DSLF
