With DSL I am using the version of GRUB (0.91) which came with it. Sometimes when booting, it presents the usual selection of DSL, DSL fb...etc, and then towards the bottom line of the screen it shows it is going to time-out if no selection is made to the default. This is a fine operation for me, when it works. However, I have noticed that every 5-10 boots that it will stay at the default and not have a timer running, and it continues to wait until I select to boot. How can I made sure it does the timing each time correctly? I'm concerned with working remotely and rebooting the machine, that it won't come up because it is stuck at GRUB waiting for a keyboard entry. Thanks!
