HELP!
I'm new to Linux, in fact I just downloaded/installed DSL last night. I like it, and I think it's gonna be a lot better for me when I learn how to use it, but I am having some basic issues right now.
I have somehow gotten locked out of some of my dirs. I am root, and I have access to /, but I cannot get into the /mine dir that I made. It's just a few subdirs in it right now, no files, but I want to use it for all my junk...
I checked permissions and I do not even have read access to it. I am unable to change these... I used the GUI and I used chmod, logged in as root and again as su, but I can't get access.
Can anyone please help me? I think Tux is laughing right now...
