The wiki's mention of /mnt/hda5 would apply to a standard hard drive, not to a flash card which is going to be /mnt/sdXY where X is a-z according to assignment via hotplug and Y according to the number of partitions on the device. Are you running DSL solely off flash? Then you need an extra partition on it. Do you have a Linux partition on /dev/hda (your hard drive) which to mount and use for DSL? If not, that's the problem.
