One of the guys over at Morphix.org has a howto on writing an iso to CDRW and then writing to it why booted from it. I think it is called the "cd persistent".
Quote: Using the toram boot option, you can load all the cd to ram and then use another cd. http://am.xs4all.nl/phpwiki/index.php/MorphixBootOptions
Also using cd persistent minimodule. http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/morphix....ownload You can save everthing/data to the cd that your running, with out doing toram and eject. /endquote What I did to include my own files: I loaded a program called WinISO on my Windows box, which allows me to drop new files into an ISO or remove unneeded files, like other language files and then save the new ISO file. I don't know if there is an open source equivalent. On Linux the Morphix guys just unpack the iso, add files and remaster. I have to use XP at work, so I found that cool program.
