I saw several views, but no replies to your question..
I'm not one to have your answers, but this is what I know.

DSL uses only a part of the XFree86 tree. DSL uses the XVesa and Xfbdev servers for X, which are not a part of the X.org or XFree86 X Window System.
That's not to say a driver couldn't be found for that device. The kernel required is 2.4 , which DSL has.. But it is beyond my skills and understanding on how to make this work for you.
