Quote (curaga @ July 31 2008,18:36) | It's a command line utility to adjust monitor gamma (color channels, or all together, brightness). Man page: http://www.manpagez.com/man/1/xgamma/
It does seem to need a full X server to use. So no brightness correction for Xvesa. Or how about just in your monitor's own settings? |
I can't change the brightness settings in this monitor, because I use this monitor with another computer (with the aid of a KVM switch), and that would mess up the settings there.
I am currently using Xvesa. What do I need to switch to? How do I switch to this alternative? All I've ever used under DSL is Xvesa.
