OK, i have a compaq persario 5155 that i took the hd out and put in a diff pc i found a old 403mb wertend digital from my fisrst pc laying aoround and decided to install it and run dsl. well i burned the disk and every thing but when i go to botot it wont boot of the cd. i went into bios and there is no where to make it boot off the cd instead of the hd. is there anything i can do to make it work?

You can get something like Smart Boot Manager and boot the cd from a floppy or you can do a hard drive install if you can get at the drive from another system or machine.
I used the floppy route on an old 133 I have.
