I have been using the wmdrawer successfully.. It seems to run a whole slew of apps with no issues.. I replaced the "drawer" icon with a homebrew "Damn Small Linux" text icon.
I have a better screenie at home, with many more icons loaded, like xine, mplayer, and the Openoffice suite.. Maybe when I get home tonite..
I'll be happy to send you my .wmdrawerrc to help with setting up the stock DSL items, if necessary..
I have this working as a .dsl, with a preset wmdrawerrc. I will upload soon..
Nice screenie, clivesay.. You should post it up in the SCREENSHOTS thread, so others can find it..
Patrick: Using the fluxbox-0.9.9.tar.gz from the repository is very easy. Once you've "mydsl-load"ed it , exit X , then type "start_fluxdev" to begin using the development version. exit again, and use "startx" to return you to the stable version.
Perhaps you were refering to an even later version...
