Not familiar with Linux (sadly brought up on SCO), have done HD install and dpkg-restore, apt-get install mtd-tools.
Sadly then the docs go wild, and the only documention I can find goes on about editing include files and re-building the kernel.
Is this necessary, and if so can someone point me to a tutorial for getting and compiling the kernal for DSL?
If I don't need to rebuild the kernel (as I thought apt-get meant we didn't need to) then does anyone know how to get a diskonchip working.
Runnig latest DSL as of yesteday...
Any help much appreciated.
