Listen. When i start linux from my USB Key all works fine but when i reboot or shut down and later power on my PC all my bookmarks, all my settings and all the things i downloaded in my home directory are deleted... How can i make DSL to save every setting and everything on the USB Key instead of the RAM?

DSL is loaded into RAM by default, and all files saved into home are saved into RAM. When RAM is cleared everything goes poof. This is why there is so much effort put into developing things like backup&restore, mydsl, and remastering. The topic of backups is one of the most commonly-mentioned things in these forums, and is also covered on that Dillo page that comes up when you first load X (you did read that, yes?).
Keywords for a search are "backup" "restore" and "*filetool.lst"

i read the file you are talking about, but how could i do to make DSL save all the directories? please, can you give me a list of the directories i have to save to make the system load all as i left?

If I install the OS not only by copying the files from the iso, is present a backup and restore function?

The list of directories is up to you...no one knows what you have changed that will require backup. This is why filetool.lst isn't already a complete list of files. Basically anything you add or modify will need to be manually added to the list. You could just add "home/dsl" to back up all of your personal configs, but you'll be backing up a lot of unnecesary stuff as well.

You also will need a writeable partition on which to save your backup.

Backup and restore should be available on any DSL release from the last year or so, unless that feature has been removed by you.
