Wow.
I would suggest breaking this down into little steps... There is LOADS of info on these forums - just remember to use the search using AND between terms, and selecting "from the beginning" and Newer when searching.
Also get dsl up and running and connecting to your win2k server first - once you've gotten used to running it as a client, look into running it as a server.
You want to have the server running as the firewall/router? Ie all the clients connecting to it, and then the server connecting to the cable modem? Why not just get a router, and have the server as one of the computers on the net?
The cable modem with a router with dsl is great - boot up and it is ready, no adjustment required for me.
Programming - gcc.dsl is on the mydsl button.
