i'm a newbie and i hav no idea whatsoever how go about linux.
I just downloaded vmware for linux. I have this file "VMware-workstation-5.0.0-13124.tar.gz". How do i install this and get this up and running. It's in /tmp folder. By the way i'm already using vmware on ms windows xp pro sp2. I need this badly since i still need to use a lot of apps that only run on windows.
I make a living by making business applications like accounting system. I'm using powerbuilder and there's no linux version of powerbuilder. So i need vmware to run windows and powerbuilder.
