Hello LiNUX pro's!
I'm new to the Linux community, but I feel already very comfortable here ;-) I tried some of the Life-CD's from various distributions (even installed the original KnoppiX on my HD), but DSL has caught my attention. A Linux on 50mb, wow! Whatever, I toyed around with it and everything went fine, until I tried to start CUBE and I noticed that my 3d-Card (nvidia GF2 ti) wasn't working. Yea, I know about the packages and so on, but after 10 hours in front of my crt-monitor running on 60Hz, I'm still not a bit further.
Can anyone give me a guide, on how to make a MyDSL-CD (and eventually HD-installable) with 3d-Card support(preferably for all 3d-cards, not only nvidia)? Something like: do this, then do that, insert CD, done!
I tried the forum search, but I haven't found what I want to know.
