I've just written my first documentation, a damn tiny howto for the vi editor, hell it's basic, but you can print it out on half a sheet of A4 & stick it in your pocket.

I just wonder why you prefer ^M to Enter...Ctrl is one of the more difficult keys to reach while typing (for me anyway...stupid left pinky doesn't stretch very well). =o)

I just read the man page & the vi.beginner file, & I thought it was easier to write the commands in the second paragraph like that, although of course you can just use the return & escape keys. I shall edit the howto & clarify that.
