Hi,

I want to add a link to hda1 (/mnt/hda1) onto my desktop. I know how to make destop icons, but i dont think it works with directories, or else something else is wrong with it. Yes, i did restart the windows manager.

Thanks
Brad

Try this:

Open a terminal window and type:

cp /home/dsl/.xtdesktop/emelfm.lnk /home/dsl/.xtdesktop/hda1.lnk
beaver /home/dsl/.xtdesktop/hda1.lnk

Then change the caption from Emelfm to hda1
Change the command from
emelfm
to
emelfm /mnt/hda1

and change the x and y position for the icon
Save the file

In the Fluxbox main menu, go to Desktop -> No Icons
then go to Desktop -> Icons Only

and see if it works.
