Ok, the download link brings you to a set of folders on another server. Just pick one, then go throught the folders until you find the latest iso. It's probably in the "current" folder and something like dsl-1.2.1.iso
To make a livecd (allows you to reboot the computer into DSL): 1) get said iso 2) burn to cd using nero or your image burning tool of choice. If you have the option, burn at a slower speed to reduce the chance of corruption.
Just pop the cd into your cdrom drive and reboot. You will (hopefully) boot into the DSL OS in livecd mode. Runs your OS entirely from your cd-rom (as i understand it). If you have an older system and you have trouble trying to boot the live cd and have older equipment, go back to the top of this post and try download dslsyslinux-1.2.1 or something of the like. Once your in DSL, you can right click to bring up your menu, and under apps->tools you can find the scripts which will (somewhat) walk you through installing a harddrive or frugal install. For more details on those try searching the forums and you should run into plenty of docs on the process.
If anything doesn't go right, feel free to ask.
