ello, i'm new to linux, and dsl, and have used it for a few days now. Not to sound to noob'ish, but is there ne way of remastering without a partitioned hard-drive? Can you do it on a usb-drive? It's just i'm not quite ready to commit to linux, and wipe all 120GB of data (& windows), by partitioning my hdd.
And after reading all the slightly different howto's on remastering, i'm kinda confused about which point/where/and which file's i should edit to: ~Keep programs (install on os, without using restore or mydsl=sda1 kinda thing) ~Keep settings (e.g. firefox, mms, apache, etc) ~Default style/theme
Will ne1 be able to help me?
p.s. sorry about lack of technical language, vocab(ne1), etc... i'm writing this in after a 10 hr shift, and can not be arsed to write in more detail...
