I USB-HDD'd DSL onto a pendrive, no problem.
My BIOS did not compute, and in addition, I failed to access it with a bootfloppy.
I tried to USB-ZIP but got a message - 'Error while trying to fetch the bootusb image file.'
I do not have net connection at home, and I want to achieve this, strictly in Linux.
I would be hugely grateful if somebody would help, point me.
Best Wishes, andyp.

Formatted pendrive FAT32, & copied contents from cd-rom to pendrive.
Booted from bootfloppy-usb and then booted failsafe (only option that works if I boot from cd-rom,) and voila, success.

I suppose I am one step closer!

I want to write, and boot from usb.
