For the GUI, type this into your .xinitrc ABOVE the fluxbox line.

xset s off s noblank

For the CLI/command line blanking ( No X desktop ) try adding
this to your bootlocal.sh file.

setterm -term linux -blank 0 >/dev/tty1

This should defeat any screen-saving features on your box.
